SQA EXAM PAPERS POORLY WRITTEN

So anyway my friend sat the Int2 Care exam yesterday, yet again the SQA muck up the papers for the 3 year in a row, Explain Bandura's approach to behaviour was on of the questions, Bandura does social learning theory not the approach. Also application questions for questions that didn't have to be applied to the case studies as they were at the top of the page and did not specify if they were to be applied, I actually think they meant to have them as AE questions as analysis and evaluation questions. It is no wonder so many people fail these external exams as they are poorly written and inconstant with what they are actually asking, also ambiguity in questions is also a bad idea as people can take it to mean different things. In addition there were things on the paper that were not meant to be covered in class in the exam as the unit descriptor specification did not specify that it should be taught at that level of course. they should ban these academics from writing these papers and do away with external assessments, since they are incapable of writing a paper that actually makes sense. Everyone who sat that paper yesterday in the whole of Scotland should be offered a resit with a paper written by their own college as it seems the actual lecturers are better at paper writing than the SQA folk who have no knowledge of being in the care field and just mark from a prep marking sheet. poor practice if you ask me. Eternal exams prove nothing.
